Plant trees

Tree For All is the most ambitious tree-planting project ever launched in the UK, with plans to plant 12 million trees with the help of people everywhere, especially children. With your support, Tree For All will give two million children the chance to make a positive difference. More

Take part in events

Whether you would like to get muddy and get digging at a planting event near you, join a walk around an existing wood or get involved in one of the many other events - this is the place to look. More

Hunt for old trees

The Ancient Tree Hunt (ATH) involves thousands of people in finding and mapping all the fat, old trees across the UK and is right at the heart of the Woodland Trust’s ancient tree conservation work. It will create a comprehensive living database of ancient trees and it’s the first step towards cherishing and caring for them. More

Measure climate change

Phenology, the science of recording natural seasonal events, provides crucial evidence of how climate change is affecting our wildlife habitats. Anyone can take part and help record the changing seasons. It's free, it's on your doorstep and it can be all year round. More

Campaign

The Woodland Trust campaigns to protect ancient woods, improve woodland biodiversity, increase native woodland cover and increase understanding and enjoyment of woods. More

The Community Woodland Network is an interactive network for community woodland groups to share information and resources. More

Volunteer

As a volunteer there are a variety of ways you can help the Trust achieve its objectives. From office administration to being a woodland warden or providing specialist advice and mentoring staff. Whatever volunteers do whether in or out of the woods your contribution is invaluable. More
